Paper 2 Tracking

PSLE English Papers 2 So Far

A simple tracking page for Paper 2 practice and reflection.

Use this page to record Paper 2 attempts, identify repeated weaknesses and decide what to revise next.

Parent Note

After each practice paper, sit with your child for five minutes and go through the component scores together. Which component lost the most marks? Is it the same one as last time? That pattern is where revision effort should go. Tracking scores turns practice papers into useful data.

What to track

  • Vocabulary traps.
  • Editing Sp/G mistakes.
  • Synthesis structural errors.
  • Visual Text evidence mistakes.
  • Comprehension Cloze logic errors.
  • OE Comprehension missing evidence or weak inference.

After each paper

  • Record component scores.
  • Circle repeated error types.
  • Choose one skill to revise before the next paper.

Student reminder

Student Note

“Do not just collect scores. Collect information about what to fix.”

“A practice paper should tell you what to fix next.”
